In order to promote the healthy and rapid development of graphene in the field of textile application and accelerate the high-end application and popularization of functional graphene fiber,on May 8, Dr.Yichun Li, the Secretary General of the Graphene Alliance (CGIA), and Professor Chao Gao of Zhejiang University visited Donghua University. Jianyong Yu, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, and the President of Donghua University warmly welcomed them. The two sides exchanged technical breakthroughs and stage achievements of graphene functional fiber.

Professor Gao first reported to academician Yu the scientific research achievements of his team in the field of graphene modified fiber in

recent years and the related industrial application development. Academician Yu affirmed Professor Gao's achievements and encouraged Gao to

continue to explore the mechanism and strategically arrange the application market of fiber maintenance.

Secretary General Li then introduced the basic situation of graphene alliance and the development trend of graphene industrialization in

various application fields. In the end, the two sides had an in-depth exchange on how to give full play to their respective advantages, actively

mobilize social resources, and accelerate the application and promotion of graphene functional fiber in the textile field, and reached a preliminary

cooperation intention.
