Title:Graphene polymer nanocomposites for advanced automotive applications
Symposium

Abstract

A new technology for the large-scale preparation of graphene nanosheets from cheap graphite has been developed.
1. Graphene materials are based on the principle of cheap graphite using Pickering emulsion. They are rapidly unfolded at room temperature and transferred to the surface of different polymer materials at nanoscale for chemical and physical treatment, and then injection molded.
2. Graphene masterbatch and white material are extruded and granulated in different proportions by screw. Injection molding into automotive parts
3. We have prepared graphene nanocomposites on a large scale and tested the mechanical properties of the six major polymer materials used in automobiles, PP, PA, PC, PC/ABS, PMMA, PMMA/ASA. The data are shown in the table
4. As a material king, graphene has ten advantages after nanocompositing with polymer materials. We have prepared many new nanocomposites with unique and excellent comprehensive performance to meet the huge needs of the existing automotive industry, and the price is very cheap, and it can provide better application space and a huge market share for the emerging automotive industry in the future.
