17 Graphene Enterprises and well-known Universities gathered together at 2015’ International Graphene Innovation Conference (GRAPCHINA 2015) site, and discussed the cooperation matters. A number of Universities like Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shandong University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, agreed to build a collaborative innovation platform in Qingdao National High-tech Zone. The well-known graphene and advanced carbon materials enterprises like Korea Graphene Standard, Hong Kong THD Industrial Holdings Limited, signed the agreements and would be settled in the High-tech Zone. In addition, more than 10 enterprises and industrial center signed bilateral cooperation agreements, like Qingdao Huagao Graphene Technology Corp. Ltd, Realeader Advanced Materials and Qingdao International Graphene Innovation Center.
Another important thing was that Andre Geim, the Nobel Prize winner, would act as the Honorary Director of the Graphene Enterprise Technology Center of Qingdao National High-tech Zone.
