The force of friction between graphene layers is so tiny that a proper treatment could cause ultra-lubrication phenomena. The abrasion cycle of graphene is very long, which is several times of the traditional lubrication materials, such as graphite and MoS2. So graphene can act as super lubrication materials to improve the lubrication properties of lubrication materials. The topic will discuss research progress and future research direction on graphene used in super lubrication materials field.
