Fuel Cells, hosted by Prof. Jianbin Xu and Mingbo Wu, attracted lots of famous scholars and experts from all over the world, like USA, Korea and other famous countries. Prof. Liming Dai, Case Western Reserve University, shared an interesting lecture about “Carbon-based Metal-free Catalysts for ORR in Fuel Cells and beyond”. Shichun Mu, professor of Wuhan University of Technology, delivered a lecture of PEM Fuel Cell Catalysts Based on Engineered Graphene. Seong Ihl Woo, professor of Korea Adv Inst Sci & Technol, introduced Morphological and Dimensional Effect of the Graphene on High Performing Oxygen Reduction Reaction Catalysts in Acidic Media. Prof. Xianbao Wang, professor of Hubei University, gave a speech of “Synthesis of Graphene Based Nanomaterials and Its Applications in the Field of Energy Conversion and Storage”. Jintao Zhang, professor of Deakin University, gave an interesting lecture on “Surface/Interface Modification of Graphitic Carbons for Advanced Electrocatalysis”. There were also some oral reports like “Probing Molecular Force Transfer Mechanisms in Graphene Film by in Situ Synchrotron Micro FT-IR Spectroscopy and Applications for Efficient Oxygen Reduction Reaction (ORR) Catalyst”, shared by Youfang Zhang, from Fudan University, and “Hierarchical Graphene Materials: From Unique Multi- Functionalities to Superior Energy Storage Applications”, shared by Cheng Tang, from Tsinghua University.
