Abstract: Graphene is a new material that has attracted much attention in recent years, and is considered as an ideal electrode material for next-generation high energy density supercapacitors. At present, the large-scale preparation of graphene powder is mainly realized via the exfoliation of graphite or the reduction of graphite oxide. However, the former technology tends to obtain multi-layer graphite flakes with low conductivity, while the latter method creates large amount of defects and leads to low conductivity. In response to the above problems, our research group proposed a method for preparing graphene from CO2 conversion. Through the self-propagating combustion of magnesium powder in CO2 atmosphere, the large-scale preparation of mesoporous graphene with both high specific surface area and high conductivity can be achieved. A pilot manufacture line with an annual output of 100 kilograms of high-quality graphene powder has been built. Based on the above achievement, a univers
