Grzegorz Gawlik received MSc in electronic technology in 1978 from the Warsaw Technical University in Poland and PhD degree in materials engineering in 1997 from the Institute of Electronic Materials Technology (ITME) in Warsaw, Poland. From 1978 up to now with Institute of Electronic Materials Technology (ITME) as staff scientist. He was appointed to the photovoltaic project and then to the ion implantation group which was focused on ion beam processing of solids and defect engineering. Since 1987 head of the thin film and ion beam processing laboratory. From 1991 to 2006 head of ion implantation systems manufacturing in Medicat Metim private company. From 2012 up to 2016 leader of the project of graphene application in optical devices in ITME. From 2018 head of Commercialization Department in ITME.
