Adrian Esteban ArranzUniversity of Manchester and the National Graphene Institute
Presently, Dr. Adrian Esteban Arranz works in the Nanomedicine lab at the University of Manchester and the National Graphene Institute under the supervision of Prof. Kostas Kostarelos. Dr. Adrian Esteban Arranz received his Bachelor and Master`s degree in chemical engineering at the University of Castilla La-Mancha (UCLM) in Spain and obtained his PhD in chemical engineering and material science from the National Distance Education University (UNED) in Madrid. He focused on the synthesis, characterization and application of carbon nanomaterials such as graphene oxide, reduced graphene oxide, nitrogen reduced graphene oxide, graphite and activated carbon, for wastewater treatment via adsorption and catalysis processes. His current research is focused on the synthesis and advanced characterization of graphene based materials and their interactions with various biomolecules for biomedical applications.
