Functional films or coatings are important for the application of graphene. Here, I would like to introduce various high-performance functional graphene films and coatings from green synthesis process. Free-standing graphene films or coatings on various substrateswere readily prepared by aqueous conductive graphene inks. Large size of 15-30 micrometer literal size of 1-3 atomic layer graphene flakes were prepared by green process of electrochemical exfoliation of graphite. Tunable sizes, layers, defects, pores, hybridization and functionizationof graphenewere realized. Graphenefilms and coatings exhibit excellent properties in thermal management, energy storage, electrocatalyst, photodetector,electromagnetic shieldingand anti-corrosion.
