Hong Lin received B.S. in 1987 from the Department of Chemistry, Tsinghua University, China, and Ph.D. from Department of Applied Chemistry, Nagoya University, Japan in 1996. She had been an assistant professor in Institute for Chemical Research, Kyoto University, and a research scientist in AIST, Japan. She is currently a full professor in School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University.
She is leading a research group, focusing their interests on the application of nano-materials in the field of new energy resources including perovskite solar cells, quantum dots solar cells, dye-sensitized solar cells, and water oxidation, with focus on key issues therein such as structural design and preparation of functional nano-materials, surface and interface chemistry of nano-materials, as well as photochemistry and electrochemistry of nano-materials.
