Prof.Yongxiao Bai obtained his PhD degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics in 2006 at Lanzhou University, China. And he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in University of Michigan, U.S.A. His main research interests include synthesis and self-assembly of graphene, graphene based functional composites system, polymer composites of graphene, graphene based nano energy materials and device. And he focuses on the fundamental and applied study of the above mentioned fields. Prof. Bai has published more than 60 articles in his research fields in the journal of Nanoscale、The Journal of Physical Chemistry C、Composites Science and Technology etc, and also applied more than 20 Chinese patents. Now, Prof. Bai is the member of china Innovation of the Graphene Industry. And he is the fellow of American Chemical Society and Chinese Chemical Society. Prof. Bai is the evaluation expert of NSFC Founding and postdoctoral Funding of Ministry of Education. He act as a reviewer for many high level journals such as Nature Materials、Journal of the American Chemical Society、Advanced Materials、Chemistry of Materials、Nano Letters、ACS Nano、Soft Materials、Small、Polymer。

Abstract

Graphene has attracted a great deal of attention from both the experimental and theoretical communities in recent years owing to its extraordinary electronic, thermal and mechanical properties. Herein, we attempt to prepare three-dimensional graphene through a facile, efficient and skilled method. This simple and green approach is capable for mass production of graphene which shows excellent electrochemical behaviors. Hence, this synthesis strategy provides an applicable route to develop 3D graphene with strong potential for use in energy-related applications.
