Zhenhua Ni is a Professor in Physics Department at Southeast University. He received Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a second Bachelor’s degree in Applied Electrical Techniques from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2003, Ph.D. degree in Physics from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2007, and did his postdoctoral research in Department of Physics and Applied Physics at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) from 2007-2010. In 2009, he received the British Council “Researcher exchange programme Award” and worked as an academic visitor in Andre Geim’s (Nobel Laureate in Physics, 2010) research group in the University of Manchester. He has been a Professor in Physics Department at Southeast University since May, 2010.
His current research interests include the fabrication, characterization, and application of graphene and other two dimensional materials. He has published more than 70 papers on high-impact journals, including Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Nano Letters, PRL, ACS Nano, AFM, Nano Research, and receiving over 3000 citations with H-index of 27. He is currently the Editorial Board Member of international peer-review journals “Scientific Reports”, and “Frontiers in Condensed Matter Physics”.
He received New Century Excellent Talents in University in 2011, “British Council Researcher Exchange Programme” award in 2009.
