Andrea C. Ferrari is a world-renowned expert in the field of graphene and othertwo-dimensional materials. He is a recipient of the Royal Society WolfsonResearch Merit Award and the founder and director of the Cambridge GrapheneCentre at the University of Cambridge. He also leads the Nanomaterials andSpectroscopy Group at the Cambridge University Engineering and NanotechnologyCentre. Andrea C. Ferrari serves as the Chair of the Executive Board of the EUGraphene Flagship. His primary research interests include the growth, modeling,characterization, and device applications of nanomaterials, particularlyfocusing on graphene, carbon nanotubes, diamond-like carbon, and nanowires inelectronic and photonic devices.
Andrea C. Ferrari has publishedover 260 papers in prestigious international journals such as Science,Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, and Nature Photonics.His work has been cited over 167,000 times, and he has an H-index of 132. Healso serves as an editor for several journals, including Scientific Reports,Carbon, ACS Nano, and Nanoscale. He has receivednumerous international awards and honors, including the ACS Nano AwardLectureship, the Charles E. Pettinos Award, and the European Research CouncilSynergy Award.
