Abstract:Twisted graphene systems, starting with twistedbilayer graphene, have emerged as one of the most fascinating platforms incondensed matter physics with a wide range of potential applications. Thesesystems exhibit an array of novel properties including correlated insulatingstates, magnetism, and superconductivity. By manipulating the twist anglebetween the layers, the electronic properties of the system can be preciselytuned. Beyond twisted bilayer graphene, such as graphene/hBN superlattice, twisted monolayer-bilayer graphene, twisted double bilayer graphene andalternating twisted graphene have also demonstrated many unique correlatedphase diagrams and band topology. These systems provide a distinctive platformfor investigating correlation phenomena and have potential applications infields such as electronics and quantum computing. Continued research intotwisted graphene systems is anticipated to yield many exciting discoveries andadvancements.
