Lu Hongbin, a seniorprofessor of Fudan University, distinguished expert of Shandong Academy ofPharmaceutical Sciences, adjunct professor of Yiwu Research Institute of FudanUniversity, has long been committed to the innovative development and industrialapplication of graphene and its composites. The rapid, efficient prepa-ration technologiesof high-quality graphene by aqueous phase exfoliation have solved a series ofkey issues in graphene applications including produc-tion cost, storage andtransportation etc. The proposed innovative technologies for the preparation ofultra-large GO, high quality graphene with controllable number of layers,lateral size, ultra-clean graphene and various composite materials have solvedthe central challenges in the large-scale industrial application of graphene.He is the 2015 person of Scientific Chinese and the banch chairman of ChineseGraphene International Innovation Conferences. The professional committeemember of Shanghai, Yangtze river delta, Guangdong, Jiangsu province, theproject evaluation experts of Ministry of Science and Technology/Ministry ofIndustry and Information, the reviewer of Nature. In 2003 and 2010, he won thefirst-class awards of Sinopec Science and Technology progress, and thesecond-class award of National science and Technology Progress in 2004. In2021, he won the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation PromotionAward.

The large-scale preparation technology of featuredgraphene and composite materials is closely related to future manufacturing,especially the development of simple, environmentally friendly preparationtechnology is of great significance to promote graphene applications. Here Ifirst briefly introduce a series of preparation methods that our team hasgradually established in the past ten years, and then introduce our progress inhigh-performance thermal interface materials, highly conductive fibers andcomposites, and the use of graphene frameworks as sacrifice templates andlimited space to prepare various metal oxides or hydroxide nanosheets and otherlow-dimensional materials. We believe that these preparation technologies withlarge-scale application prospects can effectively promote graphene to play apositive role in the future manufacturing industry.
